What This Test Report Confirms

This shielding effectiveness test was conducted by the Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology (SIMT), an accredited third-party laboratory under China's national metrology system. The test measures how effectively the conductive lining material blocks electromagnetic signals, expressed in two ways: attenuation depth in decibels (dB) and shielding effectiveness as a percentage.
Results show attenuation of 70.7–74.2 dB across tested frequencies from 12 MHz to 3000 MHz, corresponding to a shielding effectiveness of 99.9999% or higher at every tested frequency band. In practical terms, this means that when a device is sealed inside a bag made with this material, more than 99.9999% of incoming and outgoing electromagnetic signals are blocked — including RFID, GPS, cellular (2G/3G/4G), and WiFi frequency ranges covered by the test.
The test was conducted under standard SJ20524-1995, the Chinese national standard for electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of materials.
